Title: catalog of sounds in each language?
Post by: Bob on July 05, 2013, 11:45:36 PM
I think they might be called... phenomes?

Each language has its own sounds.  The smallest piece of sound that's that sound in a word.

A list... with audio, maybe video, and the official name... That's what I'm thinking.

Does something like that exist?

Cool.  Those things have improved.

Something like that but with a language.  The British one is very nice.  Nice find.

Something like that for French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish, etc.?

I would also be interested in something like this. French, German, and Russian, in particular. I prefer to keep the titles of works in their original language, but I also always sound stupid when I try to pronounce them because I have no idea how to, so it's a trade-off.
