about actually getting the money....

how would one tactfully go about getting the money from the customers... pay in advance and sorta get it outta the way, or receive payment each lesson? i dunno but this just has been on my mind
A modern house without a flush toilet... uncanny.

I've made this mistake before and missed out on money because people just miss lessons and don't seem to think they need to make them up.

Start out with a firm studio policy, put it in writing, have the parents sign it and stick to your guns.

Pay by the term is easiest, give them a couple of weeks to pay the bill though. Then if a lesson is missed, it's already been paid for.
