1. I would be ashamed of my piano.

2. My favourite composer was not a piano virtuoso.

Omg. Liszt. What could be better?!

I'd have him play...

1. Transcendental Etudes 9-12.
2. Un Sospiro.
3. Vallee d'Obermann.
4. Petrarch Sonnet 104.
5. Dante Sonata.
6. Pensee Des Morts.
7. Weinen Klagen Variations.
8. Norma Fantasy.
9. Ad Nos Fantasy and Fugue.
10. And lastly...the B Minor Sonata.

THAT would be a night to remember. (I typed that list in around 15 seconds, if I really thought about it, it may be a tad different. But, it does look very good!).

Wolfi, I'd have done the same choice: Arrau interpretation of the 111 is almost unbearably beautiful, and moving...

my favorite composer for piano is Frederic Chopin

These are 10 pieces I wish he would play:
1-3. ballade in g minor Op.23, ballade in f major Op.38, and ballade in f minor Op.52
4-5. polonaise in f-sharp minor Op.44 and polonaise in A-flat major Op.53
6. sonata in b-flat minor Op.35
7. fantasy in f minor
8-10. any 3 nocturnes (I'll let him decide what to play)

Chopin: Ballades Nos. 1 and 4, the Fantasie Op. 49, and the Op. 28 preludes (hmm that's already over 10... ah well)
Beethoven: His last three Piano Sonatas
Liszt: Piano Sonata in Bm and the Transcendental Etudes
