Oh, very nice! I always blubber towards the end of this movement. It is so intense!
I wish I could play it as good as you do one day. I attempted to play it with my teacher but it was just mess :-X
I browsed on your homepage a little. How exciting to conduct choirs, accompany singers, teach and give recitals!

Thank you both for your very kind comments!

kawai_csI'm sure the time will come for you to play it! Beethoven is always a bit tricky at first, but isn't he wonderful? And yes, I do a bit of everything :) It is a lot of fun and a good way to learn a lot of different music and people! xx

Nicely done.  I played this concerto years ago (decades, actually) and worked with an absolutely wonderful teacher with it.  If you are interested in my passing along some of her insights, shoot me a PM.  Her coaching led me to winning a state-wide piano competition with it (I also played it well, but the music was really brought out by her insights.)
Chopin Ballades
Chopin Scherzos 2 and 3
Mephisto Waltz 1
Beethoven Piano Concerto 3
Schumann Concerto Am
Ginastera Piano Sonata
L'isle Joyeuse
Feux d'Artifice
Prokofiev Sonata Dm

Beautiful and inspiring. I learned a lot from watching your arms and fingers, very relaxed and free motions in the arms and very precise fingers. Beautiful trills. Hope you'll post a recording with an orchestra someday.
