"Beauty and the Beast" - Free Arrangement

I’ve arranged “Beauty and the Beast” using my 2+2 chord arranging system for solo piano.

In 2+2 voicings, each hand plays two notes:
• The left hand anchors the harmony—typically Root and 7th or Root and 3rd (and sometimes Root and 5th on tonic chords)
• The right-hand thumb fills in the missing tone (3rd or 7th), while the remaining fingers carry the melody.

Over time, 2+2 becomes less of a method and starts to feel automatic.

The result is a balanced, playable texture that stays open enough for fills and improvisation, keeping the harmony clear and giving the melody plenty of space.

I've posted 1,500 piano arrangements of standards and 65 jazz tutorials at www.Patreon.com/HarryLikas.

I was also the technical editor for Mark Levine’s "The Jazz Theory Book" and a contributor to "The Jazz Piano Book."
