Lemoine - Piano Music
Henry Lemoine (1786-1854) was born into a Parisian family of music publishers. He took over the business from his father Antoine-Marcel in 1816. A successful piano teacher and a harmony student of Antoine Reicha, Henry Lemoine went on to publish most of Chopin´s music and firmly established the company´s production of educational materials with Berlioz´s Traité d´instrumentation and his own methods for piano, harmony and solfège.
