Copland, Scherzo Humoristique: Cat and Mouse. 5/7/07.
By winning the Senior division of my Youth Symphony's Solo Competition. ~4 mnutes. First 40 seconds or so is me walking in, adjusting the bench, putting down the music stand, and composing myself.

I'd love some feedback.

For us musicians, the music of Beethoven is the pillar of fire and cloud of mist which guided the Israelites through the desert. (Roughly quoted, Franz Liszt.)

It's good playing, but when you come out at first, don't take a bow while you are still walking. Rather wait a second to absorb (and extend) the applause, then bow. A huge pause might be appropriate before Beethoven op.111, but before "Cat and Mouse" perhaps it seems a bit pretentious? Maybe you need it to relax, but I would try and cut down the time if I were you.
