Handel's Harmonious Blacksmith
on: November 01, 2007, 12:21:31 AM
So, I've been considering attemting this piece. It will be pretty hard for me, but I like it and it would be pretty rewarding. So, just curious, have any of you people played this song before? Do you like it?
Working on:
Beethoven - Waldstein Sonata
Bach - C minor WTC I
Liszt - Liebestraume no. 3
Chopin - etude 25-12

Played it about 34 years ago for a school concert and it went down very well.

Lovely graceful piece which i must play again now you have mentioned it.

Played it many years ago, when I was...13 or so?
I love it to death, well maybe not, but it's a good piece for intermediate students, one of the best(sounding) if I might add. Might come in handy for an encore.
That's the price you pay for being moderate in everything.  See, if I were you, my name would be Ilovepie.  But that's just me.

I've never heard of this piece, strangely enough.

Perhaps because it's not known to a lot of people... I don't think most people know this music like Fur Elise or whatever(unless you take  the Suzuki method, incidentally, this piece is in their last book).
