Steinway and Sons

I have just started reading a fascinating and scholarly book on the history of Steinway and Sons by Richard K.Lieberman and published by Yale University Press in 1995.  The book focusses on the development of the firm and the incidental family cabals rather than their product. It is a delightful read and may interest members with its insights into the lives of this most famous family of piano makers.  It is also well illustrated with archival photographs.
