Ebm7 arpeggio fingering
on: June 04, 2006, 11:54:48 PM
Is there a "right way" to finger the E flat minor seventh arpeggio (RH)? I have always had trouble playing it 123412..., and recently noticed that I do better playing it 212341..., in spite of the large spacing from the 4 (Eb) to the 1 (Gb).

Thanks for any comments.

The "right way" is whatever is easiest.
In this case, I'm not sure why I don't see why the simplest solution, 1235, is problematic... do you have small hands?

I should have made it more clear - I am asking about fingering for playing the arpeggio up and down four octaves.
