Hi!

In addition to the many Chopin 10/01´s on this forum, I want to share a video recording of me playing Chopin's étude in C op. 10 nr. 1.

A german filmcrew stayed a few days in my house for shooting a documentary about the Netherlands. We decided to record some piano music to do a frequency range test of their stereo mics. Unfortunately the batteries cause an annoying noise :(

It was just one take so I had no retry to get less wrong notes.

See:

Or download the video-file with better, stereo sound  (36 mb):

I have also a vid of Debussy´s Dr Gradus, I might post it later too.

You've done a good job at memorizing the notes. Your temp is nice and steady. Now you just need to work on hitting all the arps with only the right hand ;)

Well in fact memorizing was the easiest part.

Now you just need to work on hitting all the arps with only the right hand ;)

It is difficult, especially when the 5th finger has a black key while the other fingers are on whites. But hey, if there weren't any video, you would not have noticed.
