Oscar Peterson, the greatest living jazz pianist, has passed away. He was 82. Truly one of the greatest from that golden era - Art Tatum's successor. His music will continue to inspire us all.
"Sometimes my fingers work, sometimes not, - the hell with them! I want to sing anyway," WK, 1953.

Only a couple of days ago, i was listening to his Easter Suite which is a favourite of mine.

Very sad news. His music will live on.
