At this moment there is a 9 day masterclass given by Willem Brons and Vladimir Tropp. It takes place in Amsterdam, in a beautiful building, that of Cristofori with a view over the Prinsengracht.
Two big Blüthner grand pianos are available.

Yesterday morning, the masterclass started with only 3 listeners in the audience. No other participants, except the lady who played in the masterclass. The piece she played (Beethoven, sonata 30 in E major opus 109) will also be played by two other participants. They were not there to listen. Does this also occur in other places?
Does the audience only come for "big" names, the very famous pianists?
There are no young people present, while there are still plenty of young players who want to go to a conservatory and play the piano. I think it could be interesting to them.
What's happening? Why aren't they here?

I don't think the 8 playing students have to pay. Everything is on a low budget and there are some sponsors. But perhaps their site isn't understandable for non Dutch persons.

I think I didn't write it clear or understandable enough. I don't expect young persons to be one of the 8 pianists who are working in the masterclass, but I could image some of them were listening in the audience.

Today there were more visitors, but still there is plenty of space.
