Bach Prelude
on: October 05, 2006, 07:17:12 PM
Hi all,

For School A2 music, We need to compare 2 linking pieces. One of which has to be written between 1700 and 1850, and the other has to be either 100 years older or 100 years younger than the other.

I am thinking of linking piano preludes - Rachmaninoff's Prelude in Gm with a Bach Prelude.

Any Ideas as to which Bach Prelude? It must be interesting to listen to as well as analyse.

Thanks in advance.

Toby

The chopin preludes and Bach preludes is also an option, provided we have a 100 year gap. just a thought. 8)
