Perhaps for her you were .  I think it's possible to really know these things very quickly, and sometimes whether that's true or not, the connection can still be very convincing.  And, some people are looking for this in particular ways, too.  Of course, it's a different story if it's one-sided vs. mutual.

But then she started to say things like "oh we have time to practice for the rest of our live, now we should care for relationships, because that's all that will remain. And you think you need to realize yourself in the material world by taking part in a competition, that's materialistic" And more and worse stuff like that. Needless to say, that not only I was gone as fast as the wind, but that she had spoiled it with me for once and forever.

I am not willing to be a wheel in prearranged life concepts that others make up for me, to fill up the huge black holes they have in their lives while they behave like those huge black holes were a sign of enlightenment.

I certainly don't have all the answers, but it seems that both of these parts have to do with overall life views, values, priorities, and goals.  While those may not precisely match up exactly with somebody else's, it's important that there is a compatibility.  Personally, I am happy anyway that you stuck with what matters to you and what you feel is important for your own development and growth, and in particular I am glad that you did the competition, since it seemed it was important to you!

   I actually don't know exactly what to think, but it seems interesting and thought-provoking in a non-personal sense, anyway, that people can or do express love, even before ever being met and seen by certain others.  Meeting certain others may enhance or define love in new ways, but love existed already (in some degree) and could logically of course be felt, known, experienced upon a first meeting.  Don't know if that's what you intended, but, I can't help but think things through  .

I think I get what you mean Mayla. There was this girl I knew once. I don't know why I liked her, but something in me thought I knew something hidden deep in her.

Well the girl broke my heart as always the stories with introverts like me, but the point of my sobby story: love at first sight is a beautifull thing, even if it is not returned. Maybe it is the humanity we love that we find in that special person rather than wanting them.

I suppose it's different for different people, but yes, for me there is some element of the humanity part.  Lots of people have a sense of humanity, and some people seem noticeably special as it relates to this, too (and I don't just mean mere "charisma").  That's not all though.  

To me, love at first sight seems to be a phenomenon where something is recognized which was already in existence, and the really important part beyond the experience of "first sight" is that it exists at all - that's part of what makes the experience of "first sight" shocking.  I value the existence.

Human love is complicated, I think true love is where you are willing to have the good times but also expect and work out the bad ones. How often are people's perspective so bias that they only want the good times and as soon as something puts a rock in the way they give up and run away! We must be able to clash as well as we love. I guess that is why there is so many divorces, sad really. You will never find a human to love where you ONLY have good times with, it is just not possible ever. I also think that would be rather bland and boring and unchallenging and unrewarding and and....
