Student's Corner: Invention 8 status by shoshin
I've memorized and learned to play at speed 12 measures with my RH....should I keep going with my RH until the end (piece is 34 measures)? Or should I start learning the LH now?

Thanks!
Student's Corner: need a plan to learn this Invention by shoshin
I was going to try Bernhard's method of note dropping for invention 8. One question is I learn the left hand and right hand parts separate, but how many measures do I learn them before I blend them...the whole thing?! or just a section? and how big of a section would it be?

Thanks in advance!

Hellos again...

I need help identifying the motives in this piece.  There seems to be four motives: the opening, the turn-like pattern, the ascending thirds and the alternating notes.  Is that correct?  Also, some fingerings for the first two lines would be appreciated.

Thanks.
Student's Corner: Bach Invention no. 8 in F major by classical_bluebird
Hi all,

This is my first post and I have just finished mastering Invention No. 8. Great for hand independance, but took a while though! Any suggestions on the next invention I should tackle after this, or any other baroque alternatives like Haydn?

Thanks and Merry Christmas

Hywel :)
