Hi there!
I plan to study this piece soon, and it's a challenge to myself. Although I guess I can handle almost everything, there are some tricky passages (to the end) that I'm not sure about.
What do you folks think? Any hints, or suggestions to organize my daily practice?

i recorded the ballade today. in this camera position the sound quality is best. better you don't look at my face ;)
in some parts it sounds a little bit slow i think... but

I am currently learning this beautiful piece.
The first 4 or so pages are relatively straightforward. However there are some places where I have difficulty.
- How do I get the trills as smooth and seemless as possible? Often they are uneven, or don't sound properly

Secondly, how do you play this left hand passage without the hand tiring? The big jump between notes is pretty hard. I use 5-3-1-3 fingering in the lefthand here.

Lastly I have this passage learned in terms of hitting the right notes, but how do you achieve the mezza voce that is required in this passage? Is it for the left hand, the right hand or both?

| I'd like to play it and maybe do it as a Chopin for the competition as I'm not sure of the Chopin I want to play for the competition ... Do you think that piece is overplayed, played often but it's okay or w/e ?? Cause I didn't hear it played that much ... |

I searched on Youtube, and found couples of different ballades No3. I'm currently playing this Ballade, but have sum questions (tempo, color,...) Which version is a good one to base on?

I don't now the bar or page exactly, but after a while you have in the left hand A# B B˛ B B˛ B B˛ A# B .... with the melody in the right hand.
What fingers do you use for this. This repeats a lot but with other notes.
Any of you played this ballade and has some advice for me?

Robert Schumann said he thought the ballades of Chopin was inspired by some poems of Mickiewicz.
The Ballade no.3 is based on the poem "Undine". Does anyone knows the story of it?
I read that in the Cortot edition of the ballades, it is written something about the poems. Do you have this edition?
