I'm practicing The Flight of the Bumblebee by N. Rimsky-Korsakov / S. Rachmaninov
I have a problem
The part where the right hand plays the main melody but adds a note on top doesn't come out enough...
I mean at first there are 5 a's then there are 4 d's then 4 a's but another octave higher..
I can't seem to make them come out enough and i think that's the point right? :P

Anyone have a recording of what those two are supposed to sound like? The two compositions you guys have.
Also can anyone give me a link that shows me what the really high notes are? There are pieces besides this one that it would help me out on. |

I am not sure. But I came upon several concert where they titled it as Horowitz transcription. Btw, can you kindly send me the link, if it is available online. Neither I can find it in local stalls nor library.

This video is me playing at my graduation this spring. This was my first and only public performance so I was really, really nervous, and I made some obvious mistakes. Unfortunately, my friend didn't start recording when I started playing, so the first fourth of the piece is gone, and the end is also missing somehow. But the middlesection is there and I would very much like to hear some opinions from other pianists anyway. Perhaps I should mention that I had only been playing the piano for about 8 months at this recording, so if you think it stinks please have this in mind :)

| Hi.Nowadays I'nm trying to study on "The flight of the bumble bee".First of all this,I got a note of this(not writing finger number).After reading,I tried to play.After I have played a part of this composition,I noticed that I am not fast enough and I have some difficulties about playing.I think I am using wrong fingers to the notes.Is there anyone who can share a note of this composition which includes finger numbers?Or is there anyone who can write correct finger numbers on the note which I have shared on http://rapidshare.de/files/3537491/Flight_of_the_Bumble_Bee.zip.html .Thanks |

| hey, my first post here! I went looking for a forum to ask help on this. How do I go about playing Flight Of The Bumblebee?!?!
