First published in 1858, this set of eighteen "Études de genre" offers a continuation of the 25 Studies in Burgmüller's opus 100.
As in the 25 Etudes, the pieces offer many contrasting textures, characters, and technical challenges suitable for the intermediate pianist. The level of difficulty is generally slightly higher than in the previous set, and you need to reach an octave.
