My recording of Chopin's nocturne op.9 no.3
on: August 12, 2005, 02:21:11 AM
Hi everyone. This is my first post here.
This is my first recording that I am posting on this site. I hope you will like it. It is the nocturne no.3 in B major, op.9 no.3. It has quite a few mistakes, especially where there are runs in the right hand, and also in the agitato section. I haven't tuned my piano in a long time, so it might be out of tune (however, it sounds fine to me). I hope you enjoy it, and hopefully you guys can give me some comments on what you think.

Thanks for listening! And all comments appreciated!

Sounds very good. You have the spirit of it...
My only opinions I guess- I think that your pedaling on this piece should be a little lighter, especially on the the right hand runs (achieving a perfect legato here), and on the middle stormy part, maybe a little portato on the smaller right hand runs would sound good. But pedaling problems can be easily solved on this piece. It sounds great, very good control.
Enjoy practice,
