Thanks so much for posting this .. a very beautiful performance.  I prefer your slower tempo then some other recordings and the balance was sublime.

The Bb min prelude (not so much the fugue) has been a favorite of mine since I first listened through a recording of WTC I. Again, thanks so much!

I like your playing a lot.  The steady rhythm, beautiful voicing, and singing melodies give your playing a very expressive quality.  Also your sound quality is very good even though your piano is not so great.  From hearing you play, I can tell that if you were performing on a premium concert grand piano, the sound would be glorioius.  You play as though you truly understand and love Bach.

Is it a bit sad that the first attention this receives is 5 years after the fact, and the fellow who uploaded it has not logged into the site in nearly 2 years? Not that it's so bad that it appears now. It's a good performance...it would just be nice if the poster could enjoy the response!  :o

Many artists/recordings here attract far fewer listeners than they deserve, and I see it as a continuing downward trend.  I joined Piano Street in January 2003.  It saddens me that over the years many of the fine pianists who used to frequent Audition Room have seemingly disappeared.  I believe we're poorer for that.  I've thought about it often, but have yet to arrive at a firm conclusion as to the cause(s). Hopefully it will change for the better.
