Maybe not so interresting as a solo piece, but it fits well into the cycle though. It´s also of course the return of the theme from Regard de l´etoile. As Messaien himself explains:"The theme of the Star and the theme of the Cross are identical, since the first one is the beginning of Jesus´ life and the other one is the ending of it. " ...Ok....
