Cole Porter, You Do Something to Me
on: June 27, 2006, 01:53:04 AM
This is my roll performance on my 1912 Henry F. Miller upright player. I got this piano for $20.00 in non-operating condition. I have tried to bring out the left hand melody where appropriate as well as accenting certain passages using the foot pumps.

I am having some files of a recording I made e-mailed to me by a friend in NC. I am going on vacation tonight (no computer at home - will be playing LOTS of rolls) but if there is interest, I can upload other files when I get back.

Just got in today to check e-mail while I am on vacation. Glad the responses have been positive on my roll performance. I just got a note from my friend in NC saying he will be sending me 3 files soon. I won't be back at the TV station again until the 21st (next pay day). I will see if I can upload another tune then.
instromp - this is a recut from a late 1920' Duo Art piano roll.
