pianistimo,
Yes, for sightreading, not bad. I know if you were to practice this seriously, you could perform it with no difficulty.
I got a kick out of your "first kiss" impression. In the back pages of the forum, probably page 8 or thereabouts, I posted many of the Rachmaninoff Preludes. One was Op. 32, No. 7 in F. In those preludes, I often get a strong image of a particular scene or a story line. (Rachmaninoff in his lifetime would not admit to any programmatic content in these preludes, yet did not deny it either. He just left everyone guessing.) Op. 32, No. 7 strikes me as being a couple riding in a horse-drawn carriage through a park in a summer afternoon. After awhile they share this delerious kiss where the piece becomes a swirl of ultra-romaticism. I truly believe that whenever a pianist can conjure an image like that in the interpretation, it can be extremely helpful in shaping the performance for the listener. What do you think about that?

yes. i like to imagine things that possibly the composer was thinking or intending - especially if they are made known or available. if not - whatever comes to mind that seems to 'fit.'

ps it's digitally enhanced. is that cheating? i played it as fast as i could and then sped it up a few notches.

Cheating, cheating!!
Why cheating? You said you did speed it up but you didn't.
