I don't know what kind of deal you two have made, but so far you're the only one that provided her recordings. Where's Opus?

well, you know what liszt-essence - i don't really care if i 'win' or 'lose.'  i just don't want to be told i can't play fast.

the thing is - opus10no2 is young and probably CAN play better and faster.  but, it's not just about playing fast.  sometimes it's the process.  just having fun and relaxing.

i was thinking as recording something or other ( i think the chopin etude) the other day - and thought hmm. instead of challenging myself in my mind against other pianists - i'm just going to think about how relaxed my five year old is when she plays.  she just quietly plays and does stuff around me sometimes - and she's fearless and effortless.  when i think about playing for her or about her - then i relax.  it's not about winning - but just hearing the notes themselves and feeling their beauty.

Since half the day is gone, and no news from op13no2...

I give you this piece to observe.

Yep arensky, also known as La Tartine Beurree...

Good work! And as most of you probably know, all that fancy stuff in the RH is played by one finger.... glissandos....   :D

So your not denying that you hijacked opus10no2's computer eh?   :D

Mozart may not equal Chopin, but Bach is better than both...  And I have no shame posting this, since it is cleaner than some of the others posted here...

i want to hear a chopin etude, guys.

And after hearing your recording, so do I.

I admit that i could probably not do much better, but why post something as awful as that.

I know that my new years resolution was to not be rude to you, but that was absolute rubbish.
Sometimes it appears that you are begging to be ridiculed.

You can obviously play the piano, but please stick to pieces you can cope with.

Thanks for the laugh.

must you be so quaint.  if you cannot play an etude - why criticise.  i may have this completely under control again in a month.  you all cannot do because you don't practice.  go practice.

You don't have to be able to play something to be able to criticise.

I hope you do have it under control in a month.

I just cannot see the point of posting a recording like that.

I could not possibly compete with your genius.

As i said earlier, I could probably not do much better.

If i did post a recording, it would be of something that i could actually play, not a laughable attempt at something i could not..

Well

Since Opus just ignores this completly, Pianistimo has more balls than opus does (even if she does'nt)

She at least submitted recordings!

Bravo for making the effort. Pianistimo dosent say how long she's been learning these pieces. It could be days rather than weeks for all you know. Its jolly tricky no 4 anyway so good on ya gel for giving it a crack. I challenge you to post it again in a month and show these loosers what a good bit of practice can do...it might inspire them ;) :P

Has op10/2 actually ever posted a recording on this forum?

In fact, so far I don't remember op10/2 posting anything worthwhile or at least intelligent, neither in Audition room or Piano forum, so I am impatently waiting to hear if he is as good and talented as he says he is.
In fact, there is another big mouth of the same caliber member on this forum , who from my memory at least for a year and half has been promising the recording of Mazeppa...

Yeah whatever Opus

You promised recordings, but you're too much of a chickenshit to actually post them.

If you cant keep a promise don't make one.
