oh. it's nothing. (actually DID memorize the entire page - literally) i had six bars past the first page - but then got nervous about the recording. i can play it faster. would you like to hear it faster and backwards?

consider it intimidation.
actually, i have a question about the form of the etudes. this one in particular has the same pattern of the C G C E - at measures 1 - 9 - (development sort of at measure 17-48) 49 and 57. now - each time you come back to it - what do you do? play it the same or different. i was thinking perhaps to play the second times piano instead of forte.
the cortot edition has mp at measure 17 - but it seems almost too late. i want to start a piano sooner and end up a bit louder at meausre 17. does anyone do this?
