Beams- Improv
on: May 09, 2007, 10:09:52 PM
Okay well I hesitated for quite a while if I should really post this one. It is something that is very precious to me. I did this on February 10 th 2007. The beginning is in a certain way atonal or freetonal or whatever (after all I don't care about these things, at least not for myself) Then it continues in a more "tonal" style. I am admittedly curious what you will say about it. ( I apologize for the occasional noise, this comes from my pedal that should be fixed but then I would have to give my beloved grand away for several weeks argh... :'( ) Anyway, i hope you will like it :)

Best

:) I really enjoyed it! I love the dark, singing atmosphere of the left hand later on in the improv. Great work as always.

thank you Derek! :) After listening again I must say that I am not satisfied with my pedalling :P. I might edit this one later.

Yeah that's what I thought too, thanks Rob. This piece wasn't but a first attempt to catch one of the most special impressions of my life and transform it somehow into music. I'll try to post an edited version soon if time allows me. :)
