A recital I played at last week...
on: November 02, 2007, 05:21:41 AM
I just got my recordings back from a recital I played at not last weekend but the weekend before. I only have time to post up the Chopin Scherzo I played right now (number 3)

Later I'll post Debussy's Fireworks prelude and the last movement of Prokofiev's 6th sonata.

Tell me what you think!

(also, this is my first time... tell me if I've done something wrong :-/)

What... no feedback?  :(

I haven't been able to convert the Debussy/Prokofiev to mp3 format yet. When I do I'm gonna post those up though...

Havent played this piece myself, sounds good though.
Sometimes you dont emphasize the melody of the octaves in the main theme. You did that on purpose? Shame you misgrabbed one of the first chords lol, i know its annoying when you make a mistake quickly, but sh*t happens :p.
But in general, great performance, bravo :)

...I thought the opening and the A section have the same tempo...the opening is slightly faster than the rest of A section (beginning with the octaves)...

Otherwise quite good! The B section I prefer something different, but yours is quite convincing. The ending is good
