Scarlatti (Sonata Kp 9 in D minor) and Chopin (Moderato)
on: July 07, 2009, 01:45:05 PM
Hi, my name is Cloedice. I'm 13 and I'll have a piano exam (ABRSM) next month.
Please give me some advice for this two pieces:
-Scarlattti: Sonata Kp 9 in D minor
-Chopin: Moderato

They both sound good to me. The recording quality unfortunately makes it difficult to judge nuances, but overall I like your performances. I hope you do well on your exam! I'm taking Grade 8 in November, and I haven't even finished learning my pieces yet...

Bright, lively playing on the Scarlatti, Cloedice. You might watch the dynamics. Good job!
