Easiest piece for piano and orchestra
on: August 20, 2005, 09:55:50 PM
Hey guys!

Which one would be the piano + orchestra piece with the easiest piano part? I want to try something with the accompaniment of a virtual orchestra (played by my pc)...

Thanx, FoN

What's your level of playing ? I'm sure you can tackle something harder than the easiest concerto... but the haydn in d major is very easy.

I guess my level would be around grade 6... I want something that I don't have to work so hard for because I don't know if I would really enjoy playing to a synthetic orchestra (I doubt I will ever be able to play with a real one  :-\). So this will just be an experiment...

Somehow I knew that you would say Haydn... I don't really dig his music but I will see if I can get the score.

More suggestions are welcome  ;D

Kabalevsky Concerto No. 3. Very nice and fresh music and might be good for 6 grade. It has a very cool Cadenza.

It's not like anyone is going to perform just the inner movement of a piano concerto.  ;)

It's not like if he would give a real concert  ;)

Try some of Mozart's piano concertos.
