What is a G3 yamaha?
on: October 20, 2005, 10:30:27 PM
I'm trying to help someone buy a piano. I'm not much help. But they told me there was a used G3 yamaha in one of the stores. I heard that it's 6'1". Anyone know what the list price for this should be and is it a good piano like in the S or C class for yamahas? I'm sorry I don't know much about yamaha grand pianos, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

A G3 is 6'0". It is an older series Yamaha grand. How old is it. If more than 20 years, it would sell for maybe $8,000.

I don't know how old it is. But it is selling for $11,000 as the asking price. It was a trade in at Sherman Clay. But it's good to have a reference point for the numbers that you gave me .
Thanks!
