For those of you who, like myself, use Aol Instant Messaging, be aware: there are several worms that are exploiting AIM to download viruses onto your computer that WILL ALLOW IT TO BE REMOTELY CONTROLLED. A buddy on your buddy list will "send" you a link (this happened to me, somethign like, "How do I look?") on a website. I was first suspicious when I noticed that it was an executable (.exe) file. Then they may also send a follow up message that says "this is not a virus" (wink-wink). This site, if you go there, will download and install a virus onto your computer that will wreak havoc.
I think almost every AIM user has it -- or if they don't, they will sooner or later.
