Chopin on Videos/VHS?
on: October 16, 2003, 12:09:48 AM
Anyone ever seen any Chopin performances on Videos/VHS?

Not just a couple of Chopin pieces (like in Horowitz in Moscow) but mostly-chopin videos in VHS.

I couldn't find the entire content of "Evgeny Kissin play Chopin" video, so I have not yet decided to but it.

OK, maybe noone has come across a mostly-copin performance on VHS. Although I have tens of chopin CDs, no videos.

What about a video  LOADED with ANY CLASSICAL PIANO PERFORMANCES, by any composer, instead of interviews and biogrpahy stuff (that tends to not exactly bore me, but I am more into the performances)?

Something like "art of piano" or "Horowitz in Moscow."

In Amazon you can buy a DVD for $42.00 (import) of Yundi Li, Live From 14th International Frederick Chopin Piano Competition.  Read the reviews, I haven't bought it but it looks like a good one.

Everything is made in the Far East anyway. Just because it's Japan not China there is no reason to price it so high,

Doesn't have to be chopin, although preferred, any vhs but LOADED with performances.
