Which hand - Chopin Prelude 9 (b8)

The filter chord in b8 or Chopin Prelude 9, are you surposed to take the bottom note with the LH or RH?
Pedalling is indicated, so I guess you could use either, but I wasnt sure what most people did? The interval is certain way to long for the average human to reach, so I figured there must be a standard way to deal with it.
