I'm afraid I hear little if any Yanni influence in my own music. I'm glad you liked it, though =)

I love improvised music...this is very good, Derek! Was this really all improvised? Surely you must have worked out parts of it beforehand...  it reminds me of an odd mix of Mendelssohn, Chopin, yet has a vaguely modern sound to it as well.
