I just bought the etudes and I'm hoping to maybe save myself another $20. Anyone have the Scherzi?

There are editions that have come out in English with the usual English/French/German translation of Cortot's notes but i've only seen them in Berlin so far.
Never look at the trombones. You'll only encourage them.

I have Cortot's Op. 25 etudes, and I've learned quite a bit from them.  The other day I was in the music library (IU) and found a Cortot edition of Liszt sonata and an urtext.  I went for the urtext.  (First of all, the Cortot wasn't translated in this case).  I think that one can learn his method from the Chopin etudes alone, and it is then valuable to transfer them by oneself to other pieces, i.e. Liszt Sonata or Chopin Scherzi.

Food for thought.

I dont have Cortot's Op 25 Etudes, but I have the Op 10 ones if anyone wants them. Would also be interested in the Op 25 Etudes if anyone still wants to post them  ;D
