That´s a wonderfull recording. Great technique, You realy master theses pieces. It sounds a lot like Glenn Gould, but hey...wasn´t he the best interreter of Bahc?
Wich equipment did you use here? you got very good quality.

I'm sure you will have more comments. I've seen a number of Bach fans here. Probably will just take a bit more time. I listened to 1 and 4 so far, very nice! Quite a different interpretation from mine, so it was interesting to hear in that respect, but also, I just really appreciated the quality of your playing. Lovely job.

I only heard the 1st varation but it is really lovely! Sorry I can't give some constructive critisism but well, I would have no idea on how to improve it even more

Thanks for the comments.
I've been inspired very much by Glenn Gould (hence the "Gouldberg" Variations). I learned these pieces by myself over a period of about 2-3 months. Unfortunately I haven't had formal lessons in a while (4 years) so I really appreciate all comments and suggestions. The touchstone for my interpretation is Gould's 1981 recording, though I can sympathize with those who dislike it. I also consult Perahia and Tureck's equally excellent recordings.

She is great indeed.
but for some reason I prefer Gould an Perrahia, in comparisson with her version o Goldberg variations.
Anyway steveie, great job, specialy without a teacher. You shoul look for one, I´m shure you will get even better! (it happend to me)

Ok, you don't need the praises, but the critizizm right? Bach purists would probably find that some of your ornamentations are not in the most appropriate places.
Post the rest soon, I miss the variation II

A previously unknown manuscript by Frédéric Chopin has been discovered at New York’s Morgan Library and Museum. The handwritten score is titled “Valse” and consists of 24 bars of music in the key of A minor and is considered a major discovery in the wold of classical piano music.
