ok. ur all not geeks anymore. if u saw this band dancing and playing k-cee and the sunshine band's - 'get down tonight,' 'that's the way,' and something else -- u'd see what i mean. unfortunately, i think i love geeks. they played sooo cool and even if they danced hilariously - it was ok because they played so good.
the euphonium player played a solo from the 'carnival of venice' which was amazing and then at the end played the same solo with one finger and used a tonguing technique. he put on this glove so everyone could see that he could only play with one finger (the only finger sticking out).
they played a lot of classical stuff, too. i liked gaspar cipado's tocatta, vaughn williams 'rhosymedre, clare grundman's concord (medley of early american music), and especially a very jazzy version of 'amazing grace' by luther henderson. you wouldn't believe it if u heard it. it made everyone laugh because of it's ridiculous excursions.
