First Composition
on: November 01, 2006, 09:05:00 PM
This is my first time ever recording a composition of mine. There is background noise because there were other people in the pianoroom also but i turned the volume so you should be able to hear it clearly.I had many distractions going on, so please excuse the few minors missed notes that I struck :P.

But please give me feedback/comments/critique on this, as this is my first one and hope to make the second one even better.I'll put both recordings up,since i couldn't figure out which one to choose.

It is actually pretty. But sometimes it's hard to say, which sounds belong to your composition and which are played by some other persons. Please don't hesitate to make a new recording of your nice piece in a quiet room and post it here.

Do you have this written out?  It would be helpful if I saw the sheets.  My first reaction is that it's a good start, a good idea.  I think you should develop it more, expand on your theme.  Right now you seem to be staying in a fairly limited comfort zone, with the arpeggios and similar chord progressions.  See if you can't come up with a melody to counterbalance the arpeggios.

Greetings  :D

Sadly no, im terrible with composing when it comes to writing it out :'(.What you say is true,iv'e been expermenting and trying to add in a 'C' section to this.I was thinking to use maybe a minor key, but it wasnt ready so i didnt add it in there.I think the minor would work, since the sound it creates has a melancholy feel to it,since the piece sounds 'pretty-ish".When im done with it i will make another post. Thanks for your feedback on this.
