on: February 14, 2004, 07:37:16 AM
Any suggestions?  Especially the left hand I can't find good fingerings for the left hand that suit me in this piece. Please help.

Which cadenza ? There are three. In the first one I use (left hand) 4,3,2 and then the usual chromatic scale fingering 1,3,1,3,1,2,3 etc for each group. The little repeating bit at the bottom I use 4,3,2,1,3,1.

The cadenza with the widespread arpeggios only allows about one obvious fingering.

The one on the following descending Db scale with a couple of extra notes I use (left hand) the second on the Bbs and the Dbs and the remaining fingers of the hand fall into place.. Going back up I put the fourth on the Cs and everything else falls into place.

Yes I meant both Cadenzas.  I guess that's the plural right.
