he's funnier as you get older. when i watched him the first time i was 18- and i was looking around at all the old people and thinking they were semi-retarded for laughing. but, then even with younger people he can get them to laugh after a while. i bet if he were alive today he would have added more and more stuff. he never really got rid of any of the old jokes- he just added to them. hearing the seatbelt joke one more time would probably put me over the edge. but, that episode on u-tube with the singer was very hilarious to me now. you know how accompanying singers are! if only we could give them one 'day in the park' like he does. my husband, thankfully, isn't so demanding - but whew - i've met some demanding people.
having music upside down, also seemed like a lame joke at first. but, now, i understand. it's all in the method. the dumber the joke - the more hilarious it is - and then, it feeds on itself. he actually plays it upside down and backwards - and sometimes turns around and plays like mozart did - and amazingly gets something good to come out.
