okay. so. as some of you probably know, i love music. i mean, like, rock band type music (in this context). And, in that vein, there's a concert tour with a pretty much unbeatable lineup. The Vans Warped Tour. AND, the date closest to me? HAD THE USED. THE EFFIN USED. But, it is on Sunday, and I can't go.
Now, we're talking Poison the Well, The Spill Canvas, Coheed And Cambria, BLEED THE DREAM, Alkaline Trio, Bad Religion, Anberlin, Bayside, Bless the Fall, CIRCA SURVIVE, Evaline, NEW FOUND GLORY, The Unseen, TIGER ARMY, POISON THE WELL, THE SPILL CANVAS, COHEED AND CAMBRIA,
THE USED...........and some more i don't feel like typing.
If I had to choose one concert lineup to go to, it would so be this one. I know some of you know I say that alot, but hey. This time I mean it. I would've traded Taste of Chaos for this, and Taste of Chaos was one of those mind blowing life chainging things (actually the only part like that, incidentally, was the Used)(no joke...the used saved me life).
But I can't go. My sister and a couple of my closest friends can go. As you might imagine, as excited as I am about going to Alaska, i was somewhat heartbroken to miss out on an ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE day of music, sunburn, music, and the mixed aromas of some of the strangest people in the state, and more music.
AND NOW, the main amazing entirely insane awesome Frontman of the Used, the immortal Bert McCracken, is having surgery. HE'S NOT GONNA BE THERE, So I"M NOT GONNA MISS HIM!!
This has made my day, my week, oh yes.....
