Anyone know anything about Starr grand?
on: March 28, 2004, 07:11:06 AM
I am going to go look at a Starr grand tomorrow that was built in the 1920's.  Does anyone know anything about the worth or quality of these pianos?  The seller says it had 1200 dollars of restoration done to the inside and that it plays great.  Does anyone have any concerns for this or any tips that I can use in looking at this piano?

Thanks for any information you can give me.  There isn't too much information on the net about Starr because it isn't made anymore.  I gleaned a little, but nothing to do with the quality or the worth of this piano.
