Evil deception of Little Debbie

I have lately noticed that Little Debbie snacks are the most evil thing in the world. Even though they're not organic, not low cal, not low fat.......even though they make no attempts at all to be healthy......even though they are so shamelessly bad for you that eating them borders on irresponsibility.....

They feature the picture of innocence on the box as their logo--I little girl named "Little Debbie."  What could be more innocent or pure?

It's sick how they market complete toxicity with the picture of innocence on the box.

If they had any integrity, they'd have a fat, ugly person in a hospital bed on the box.  It's false advertising, I think.

I think it's a conspiracy to make everyone feel bad about themselves, so they drown their sorrows with more Little Debbie brownies, but then they feel bad about themselves, so they end up with a vicious circle that goes on forever, while Little Debbie gets rich!

Haha... is anyone here good with Photoshop?  Can you transform Little Debbie into a large diabetic?  Would love to see her with a few extra pounds around the cheeks, surrounded by empty wrappers, in one of those electric carts.

We need to come up with a new name for them....like "secret vice cakes" or instead of little debbie it could be "big fat devil" with a pic of an overweight devil on the box.

Or even perhaps put that character from austin powers on the box--whats his name, "fat bastard?"

you seem awfully obsessed with fudge.  why don't you just make a whole pan of it - gorge - get sick and get it done with and over?  that's what i do.  keeps you from eating it for an entire year. 

ps if you want to feel really good - just eat greens.  salads, cooked greens, carrot sticks/celery, broccoli....

put little debbie on the fridge and a piece of broccoli hanging out her mouth.  *just tape the real broccoli on - it will save time attempting to draw it.

Well, in my previous thread I was talking about fudge brownies.  But in this thread I'm talking about everything Little Debbie makes.  It's all shamelessly unhealthy.  I'd have to gorge on lots of different things--could take a few weeks....better not try.  My biggest weakness was always the oatmeal creme pies, but even those have 180 calories each.  A couple times, I ate a whole box of 12 in one day---2160 calories.  It was a lot easier than you'd think.

didn't your mother cook?  can you not tell quality from junk?  creme pies?  with no real cream (from a cow?)  this is tragedy in the making.  if you only knew what awaits people who come to pennsylvania and eat REAL butter for the first time.  or real whipped cream.  or real pudding and pie.

btw, forget i said that - because it's also fattening.  your choice - die happy or die skinny.  i alternate every 5 days.  mrs. benner's' here - makes every kind of baked goods imaginable and it all tastes good.  carrot cake, chocolate cake, pound cake (just the name alone should be a caution) - pineapple upside down cake - you name it!  it's all delicious.  however, i try now to drink a lot of WATER.  it fills you up so you think you are full - but it's just water.

No, my mother did not cook.  She hated cooking and still does. Well, I can't say she *never* cooked, but when she did she hated doing it.

i'm sorry you have been forced to eat little debbies for consolation.  sounds like she took you too frequently to the corner 7/11.  (which is what i've been doing lately).  sometimes - moms just get tired of cooking.  i'm in a phase now where i like cooking again.  it comes and goes.  sometimes my kids laugh at waht's for dinner.  other times they are very grateful.

part of the problem at my house is that when i cook unusual foods, nobody wants it.  perhaps their tastes will change - but they didn't like moussaka (which i happen to love), and probably won't like what's for dinner tonight because i'm making something with yellow and green squash in it - a casserole with tortellini and cheese and squash and tomatoes (everything my daughter hates - i guess).  she already asked for a turkey sandwich.

The reunion--yes.  Let's just say plans for a reunion are simmering.  I've started thinking about what it would take to pull it off.  We (those willing) would need real desire and commitment.  Impossible?  I say only if we let it.

Great!  Thalberg's on board.  I know that there are people from all over the world here, but the first one, at least, I vote to be in the United States.  However, in the near future I could venture outside the U.S.
