Grade 7 piece?

Do anyone know a good piece at grade 7 ?

Just to play for fun

I will love to play some Beethoven or chopin

Personally, I have played Raindrop Prelue by Chopin, some of the Debussy Childrens' Corner, Claire De Lune, Some of the prelude from the Claire De Lune suite (my hands weren't big enough to be able to play it properly), Traumerei, by Schumann, and if you are willing to down a grade into grade 6, Venetian boat song op. 30 no. 6 is really good as well.

I have heard played Mendelsohhns Venetian Gondola 2 in A minor Op 62. 5, and a few good Greig pieces.

I would suggest waltzes and some nocturnes from Chopin, eg. Waltz Op.64, Nocturne in C# Posth. Pieces from Chopin are always enjoyable.

Pity though that chopin nocturnes always have a difficult phrase somewhere wich makes most of them like grade 9 if you really want to finish them off.

which concerto? don't tell me those very famous ones

 Beethoven, sonata 1 or 5.
 Chopin, waltzes op.64
 Schubert, impromptu op 90 no 2
 Debussy , Arabesque no 1

Nocturne no 20 (C sharp minor) is grade 7 and easy if you can trill and play the fast "cadenza" in E near the end. Also Nocturne op.9 no 2 is very easy, easier than no 20 I think and both are very beautiful pieces.
Grade 7 is prelude no 2 (Bach - WTC), a wonderful piece.
Mozart - the first mouvement of sonata in A, very beautiful and easy.

I am trying Debussy Arabesque no 1 myself. Wonderful piece, but rythmically difficult I think. Trio's on the right and eighths on the left.

I thought exam pieces were layed out by the exam board or can you choose your own ones on higher gardes?
