Jet lag / burnt feeling from working too hard
on: March 11, 2008, 12:39:59 AM
So I got my lovely project done for today.  Good enough probably.  I haven't heard much comment on it yet.

And I'm off to work on two more fun projects now.

I feel cooked though.  Not comfortable in my own body.  Maybe it's tension in the shoulders.  I know even if I rest, it's not going to do much good.  It's going to take a few days of rest to get rid of this.

I took an aspirin.  You can't do that all the time though.

Is there any way around this?  Prevention of course.  But once it's done?  I feel cooked, tired, and still have more to do.  Pushed.

When I'm in this state I whip out my axe and belt out some Guns n Roses.  Really gets rid of some tension.  I also suggest listening to Scarlatti sonatas with a cuppa, which is supremely relaxing (best hangover cure in my opinion).  Or you could try a scotch and cigar on the balcony.

Plenty of options!
