Well yes, it is a whole note with an F. However, there is a slur going from the whole note to the F. If the A slurs to the F, then the F continues from the A. If so, then F comes in at a fifth beat. I rewrote the whole thing as an exercise by hand, mostly because the fused leger lines make it difficult to read, so I unfused them. I had a choice of omitting the slur, or turning the whole note into a dotted half note. If the whole not is actually a dotted half note, then that quarter note comes in on the fourth beat. If the slur is omitted, then the qarter note comes in at the third beat while the whole note is still playing.Since I can't hear sound, that is why I asked you what you hear. Does the A last for four beats with the F coming in to join it in harmony in the fourth beat? Or does the A turn into an F in the fourth beat?It doesn't turn into F - it is an addition of AD half notes. I think, there is a missing quater rest sign, which suppose to be fixed.Thank you for pointing this error. We recently put this piece into the program and didn't have chance to correct all the detailsMusicrebel4U, what would I be hearing if I had sound? How does the F relate to the A whole note? Remember, I'm playing this on an ordinary piano after printing out that page.
