Well nerd, I think people's inability or lack of will to learn anything new is more annoying than your desperate attempts to promote an objectively better protocol for chatting. AIM is for yanks, IRC is for Finnish losers having their lame antisocial clubs behind the back of the God. To correct something about the commercialism misunderstanding here; IRC is free and in itself non-beneficial activity, whereas AIM indirectly supports a megacorporation. But blindness only affects inside one's field of vision.
Sorry to hear that, donjuan I've been meaning to write a post and ask where people were.
Me, I'm not in the mood to deal with IRC--too much work. If you guys want to set it up, go ahead.
(Hope your chili turned out good!)
. We went back and forth very briefly, as you said that you had to get off and eat your chili! I'm serious...don't you remember now? Guess it must have been around dinner time ...
sorry i couldn't make it... i'm in Europe, and 9 pm Central Time is 5am in Romania... not good.We should have sessions in the morning US Time, so that all people around the world could come in. For example, if you have it at 8am Pacific Time, then you can have people from all America and Europe, but if you have it at night in USA, then all people in Europe are asleep... I know it would be harder, but school is out, and most of us don't work in the morning... and it would get more people together (hope...)Feedback?!Bitus.
Yes, that does help! Most of us don't crawl out of bed before noon--lol. I've kind of gathered that from talking to most folks from the US! (You lazy bums--lol. Just kidding. I'm not a morning person, either!) So if we had it on Saturday, noon, central time, that would be 9pm for you, right? How does that sound? Feedback!! Hey Bernie, what time would that be in England? We are dying to talk to you!! But you would need to download AIM. (If someone insists on using something else other than AIM, then you will have to convince everyone else. Personally, I think AIM is great--we can create our own chatroom,it works as a permanent sort of thing, etc.) I know that whatever time we pick will be bad for at least one or two people, but I'm trying to get a time that is convenient for the majority of Americans and Europeans at the same time. Personally, I won't be able to stay much longer than an hour if we start at noon on Saturday (US, central time).Feedback?
Saturday is fine for me... noon Central Time? Also, people who don't want adds from AOL, can go on the Aim.com, and select the AIM Express option, which is a online thing, and you don't download anything, and get the same features.Bitus
Bernhard is too 31337 for AIM.

if this makes sense then put your times down now!
Right now, it says 5:53 am on July 2nd.
Janice, you need to watch that caffeine intake and get to bed earlier, or wake up later, which ever one it might be...
So, is that like 10 AM Mountain time? (In other words, 2 hours behind Eastern time?)
This is the time for those of you living in the states:12:00 AM Eastern11:00 AM Central10:00 AM Mountain9:00 AM Pacific
I am 100% sure you mean 12:00 P.M.
