Wow your ornamentation in 1) made me think about turning leaves over and thinking, oh look! little bug, or what have you. Seemingly random note runs make me think about bugs moving around with all their legs, spiders making and treading their webs etc. It felt like I was walking through a dark forest and all sorts of little creatures and plant life where watching. The piece had very curious sound to it, like we where investigating something.
The deep notes makes me feel like I am walking on the bottom completely submerged, quick runs are kept quiet and low make me think about bubbles and creatures and plants under the water this time, also water swirling around and pouring into the river. Again this improv takes me on a walk through the environment very effectively and I can imagine my journey through the watery depths and can even look above me and see the waterfall pour down creating bubbles all around me.
You seem to be able to start in the right register to create the correct atmosphere again in this 3rd recording it instantly makes us think about misty fog, to me it is quite light and starts to get thicker. There is sort of this scared tense feeling but at the same time the lightness and remembering oh its only fog, but what might lurk in the hidden fog might be frightening, but we are always reminded how velvety the pretty ghostly the fog is.
A wonderful collection to wake up to with this morning, thanks!
