we don't know each other as i'm pretty new here (allthough i'm a more or less long-time reader^^) but welcome back! Ain't you that guy playing pictures for a pretty unattentive audience (especially one person)  
Btw, what's that spa thing? Is it something to eat? How does it taste?
Or can i use it to travel long distances in light speed? Yes, i'm sure that's it!

And the good ol' times....everybody misses them of course! It was soo much better back then!

I think it's obvious that this forum is moribund for many reasons, including policies that seem intended to have that outcome and an unwelcoming, cliquish atmosphere set by the core group of long-time regular posters that survives.

Even if different people have differing notions of what's "valuable," there's nothing here to encourage or sustain the participation of new members who have the potential to be such.  There's little of interest or value to newcomers here of any stripe, in fact, and it's a situation that's both transparent and self-reinforcing.

It's equally obvious that PS was once a vibrant place, and that's sad.

It keeps on going.  Maybe it was more fun years ago.  But I don't think it's dying.  People come and go.  Some people disappear.  Some get swallowed up by the forum.   I think a lot go through all their ideas.  I know I've gone through a lot of mine.  I still have more though.  And some must quit piano or lose interest.  Or get very busy with it.

Since I've been here there hasn't been a lot in terms of professional pianists.  I there have been a few but they don't stay forever.

Aaah, ok. That explains his permanent laziness. He told me he's only tired. So his long hair is no coincidence either. Also he rarely takes a shower lately. Should i talk to him? You know, he didn't have an easy childhood. One of his best friends cheated on him and i didn't spend any time with him in his teens. He also often got into trouble with the law.
Why are parents always the last to find out about this sort of things? I'm worried!
